2016年6月3日，受我院邀请，国际著名gis、遥感专家董品亮教授为我院师生举行了题为《lidar applications in forestry, urban enviroments, and geosciences》的学术讲座。
董品亮教授，博士毕业于加拿大brunswick大学，硕士毕业于中国科学院遥感应用研究所，本科毕业于北京大学，现为美国北德克萨斯大学终身教授，长期从事gis、遥感理论和应用研究，在《international journal of remote sensing》、《journal of applied remote sensing》、《geomatica》、《journal of geographical information sciences》、《advances in space research》、《computers and geosciences》、《advances in intelligent and soft computing》等国际著名期刊上发表论文50余篇。
